Explore the diverse range of committees at our Model United Nations conference.
Our Model United Nations conference features a diverse range of committees, each with its own unique focus and challenges. From global issues to regional conflicts, our committees provide a platform for delegates to engage in meaningful discussions and find solutions to complex problems.

This committee will investigate how state policies have systematically suppressed Kurdish identity through denial of citizenship, prohibitions on language & culture, and restrictions on political participation. Reports detail hundreds of thousands made stateless, bans on Kurdish names, schools, media use, and displacement of Kurdish communities. Delegates will explore how such discrimination violates international law and threatens human dignity and how the UN can enforce minority rights and ensure “equal protection under the law” for all ethnic groups.
This committee confronts the rising menace of advanced persistent threats (APTs) and state-aligned hacktivist groups that hijack elections, disrupt infrastructure, and challenge the very concept of sovereignty. From covert malware campaigns to mass disinformation operations, cyber weapons now hold the power to destabilize nations without a single shot fired. Delegates must decide how international security can be defended in an era where wars are waged in silence, across invisible networks, with consequences that are all too real.

"Human rights are women’s rights and women’s rights are human rights, once and for all." – Hillary Rodham Clinton
CEDAW, widely regarded as the "Bill of Rights for Women," challenges such discrimination by mandating states to uphold equality in both law and practice. Across the world, personal laws on marriage, divorce, inheritance, and custody are often shaped by religious identity, resulting in systemic discrimination against women. In many regions, identity-based legal systems clash with these obligations, leaving women vulnerable to patriarchal structures hidden under "tradition".
Outer space, once celebrated as the frontier of exploration, is now shadowed by militarization. Concepts such as orbital kinetic bombardment ("Rods from God"), though never deployed, highlight the destructive potential of future conflicts in orbit, while advances in directed-energy weapons raise fears of warfare at the speed of light. The disabling of even a single satellite could disrupt communication, cripple economies, and threaten global security.
The committee faces a critical dilemma: will space be safeguarded as a realm of peace and cooperation, or claimed as humanity’s next theater of war?

"Money is power, and the one who controls money shapes the world."
With the agenda "Exploring the feasibility, implementation, and implications of a BRICS+ currency & settlement platform," delegates will debate the prospects of creating an alternative to the dollar-dominated global trade order. Such a move could redefine international finance, offering member states greater monetary independence, shielding them from sanctions, and potentially reshaping the future of global economic governance. This committee will examine the technical and economic feasibility of such a currency and its geopolitical implications.
Decades of simmering hostility in the Taiwan Strait have finally erupted into open conflict, shattering the fragile peace of the Indo-Pacific. Fueled by Beijing's unyielding claims of sovereignty and Taiwan's steadfast defense of its autonomy, the world's most critical geopolitical flashpoint has ignited. The initial military actions threaten to paralyze global trade, shatter the semiconductor supply chain, and draw major world powers into a direct confrontation. The international community is on a knife's edge, where any miscalculation could lead to a catastrophic escalation. This committee will navigate the defining conflict of our time, where every decision could reshape the global order.

The Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly convenes to address the fate of a fallen giant. Kanpur, once celebrated as the "Manchester of the East," now sees its legendary textile mills lie silent. The challenge before this assembly is twofold: to engineer an economic revival for the industry and its workers, while simultaneously preserving the historic identity of the mills. Members must forge a sustainable blueprint that charts a new future for Kanpur without erasing its storied past.
"However good a constitution may be, if those who are implementing it are not good, it will prove to be bad." – B.R. Ambedkar
The AIPPM convenes to address the bedrock of Indian democracy: electoral integrity. While issues like voting duplicacy and roll manipulation have long been concerns, the enactment of The Chief Election Commissioner and Other Election Commissioners Act, 2023, has introduced a critical new dimension. This act thrusts the debate beyond procedural flaws to the core issue of institutional accountability and independence.
